Born in Westmoreland 1976, Norman Vickers grew up hearing sound systems from within his mother’s womb. The melodious and thundering sounds of Daco Tone High Power could be literally heard miles away and his parents lived just blocks away from the source.
Born in London England, and migrated to Kingston Jamaica at the age of 4. There he completed his prep and high school education. Migrated to Miami, Florida to complete his education where he graduated from college and works in the IT Field from 1993 – present. During this time he kept playing music as he did when living in Jamaica.
DJ Duval grew up in one of the most political areas in Jamaica,Craig Town, a small inner community of Jones Town, Kingston 12. As a boy he listened sounds like Papa Roots Hi-Fi though he could not attend the venue. He started out playing on a tube amp his uncle had locked up at his grandma’s house, playing it by the influence of his big sister.
I was born in the Parish of St. James, Jamaica – Veronica Shaw now Veronica Crooks (RT). As a child, I loved listening to music and singing in the local church. Now I’m living in South Florida. I’m a mother of three beautiful boys, Graduated from BCC, earned a bachelor’s degree and now working as a Radiology Technologist at a local hospital.
Dj Richie grew up as most young Jamaican men did back in the days. This opening sentence needs no further explanation. His home town has been and still is an area that pushes out top class talent. This part of Jamaica is called August Town. Though a rough area, those who grew up there learnt the simple policy “Only the Strong Survive”.
